There is a New Renaissance Rising.

It's a movement to reintegrate inspired art* into the church and spiritually powerful art into the culture. A movement that will connect artists with the ultimate Creator and their true selves, invigorate the Body of Christ and convey God's love to the world in creative and authentic ways.

The signs are all around.

From the historic November 21st, 2009 meeting at the Sistine Chapel between world -renowned artists and the Pope to “rekindle the special historical relationship between faith and art”, to mainline Protestant church's integration of contemporary music, drama and digital media in their services, to to recent powerful prophetic statements from Charismatics about God’s plans for the arts.

Take your place in the New Renaissance Rising.

The New Renaissance Rising arts organization took the initiative to organize a "worldwide celebration of the arts" on Nov 21st, 2009, in conjunction with the Pope's meeting in Rome. Artists, organizations and churches of many denominations around the globe joined in. This website builds upon that event. The resources, materials and ideas on this site are designed to Equip, Connect and Inspire artists and churches of all denominations for their place in God's renewal of the arts, and the art’s role in God's transformation and redemption of the world. This site features original information and also serves as a portal to other organizations who are pursuing God's heart for the arts and humanity.
