USA

Arts of the Covenant– Menlo Church, Menlo Park, CA–Prayer and worship

Boise, ID —  Vineyard Boise— “In Boise, Idaho, we’re inviting everyone to the VineArts Studio at the Vineyard Church for an afternoon of prayer for artists of the worldwide Church. We’re throwing open the doors of our art studio from 1PM until 4PM. After praying together for a NEW RENAISSANCE IN THE CHURCH we’ll break out the art supplies and listen to some inspirational speakers as we create and doodle for fun. And there shall be coffee and cookies.”

New York City, NY–  St. Bartholomew’s Church–“Exciting launch — we will lead on this from the online side, featuring this on our home page (which can get 30,000+ hits a day)

New York City, NY– Limner Society–Limner Society, a non-profit arts organization, will be conducting a prayer brunch in New York City to pray for a renaissance in the visual arts.  We have witnessed God moving in many arenas all across the globe and we will concentrate prayer on these specific programs and efforts. Gaithersburg, MD–  Mother of God  Arts Guild — “Let us celebrate with a small gathering at Diane’s house on the third. This gathering will include prayers and thanks giving that the Church,under the leadership of Benedict xvl is reclaiming past glory and seeks to restore art in all its medias to God’s glory here on earth.”

Minneapolis, MN–Salem English Lutheran — “We are currently meeting for worship in an area arts center, called Intermedia Arts, while our permanent space is under construction.  As a result we have the exciting opportunity to hold our November 21st service in a gallery.  One of the things I have planned for our event is for attendees to bring examples of their creative fruits to the service.  It will be a way to celebrate the
diversity in the people and the way they view the world.  (We are holding our service in the morning 10:30-110AM)

Pella, IA– Grace Fellowship Church– “We are gathering a group for prayer in our corporate worship space from 10-11:30 AM on Sat. Nov. 21. Visual artists, authors, composers, and worship leaders will be praying and listening for God’s direction and vision for the future of our ministry together.”

Indianapolis, IN — Vineyard Community Church–Worship, intercession and prayer for the arts! 1-3 pm.

Indianapolis, IN —  Trinity Weslyan Church–Worship and Prayer

Lebanon, IN– St. Peter’s Episcopal Church–” How very inspired – before I heard of this, I had already scheduled a workshop on November 21st at our local church, entitled Praying in Color.”

Humble,  TX — Atatsocita Presbyterian Church– “We have been hosting art openings for our talented members. Once every six weeks we showcase a new artist, we use the walls of our parlor and library as the backdrop. We have the official opening after our second service where we enjoy fellowship and snacks. This event is right up our alley! Gods gifts come to us in many different ways we will showcase ours on the 21st with a group show.”

Portland, OR — St Francis Anglican Church– “Prayers for this project and for those artists working to bring beauty to
art and architecture to the church offered at Saturday mass.”

Nashville, TN —  Thunder School/The Foundry–Rockin Worship and Prayer

Australia

Brisbane, AU– Chapel Hill Uniting Church– “Here in Brisbane, Australia, We are holding a Creative Arts Day. We will certainly be celebrating the Arts along with those gathering at the Sistine Chapel Art Summit!”

Brisbane, AU– Kenmore Baptist Church–“This worldwide move of God is very encouraging to hear about….will stayed tuned! (and will gather our church’s creatives together to pray and plan!)”

Queensland, AU — Louise Corke Studio–“I have planned a get together with Christain artists on Nov 21st at 3pm. We will share our vision for our art as it fits within the christain life and pray together recommitting our talent to the Lord for greater impact in the market place. We are meeting in my studio for about an hour of discussion and prayer.”

Scotland

Glasgow, Scotland — The Kog Cafe, Parnie St.– “Artists,musicians,writers,poets and anyone interested in the arts are invited to join for a creative time with us from 11am-3pm at The Kog Cafe,Parnie St, Glasgow. There will be soup available to buy for lunch in the cafe, please bring all of your own art materials.  E mail Amy Chadney at amy (at) lightlife.org.uk for more information. The venue itself has just opened in the heart of the city and is a place for people to come all week and experience the presence and awesome power of God , recieve prayer and holistic therapies for healing (massage/physio by trained proffessionals, prophetic art, dream interpretations etc). There is also gallery spaces for large exhibitions etc… We have chosen for the day to be a celebration without too much fuss as a lot of us teach or work in the arts and would like to spend some time enjoying them for ourselves!”
